It is better to a heat1/2 cup of milk or water and 1/2 tsp of Brahmi powder for about 3 minutes and allowed to infuse for 2-3 minutes. To the mixture, honey can also be added for sweetness.

5: Lavender

Lavender is also a herb that has been used since centuries as a natural remedy for anxiety and nervousness. Adding 2 to 4 drops of lavender oil in 2 to 3 cups of boiling water and inhaling the vapours with help in relaxing the nervous mind.

6: Tulasi

Tulsi improves the level and activity of antioxidants which safely interact with the free radicals and fight their negative effects. 1/4 cup of tulsi leaves should be mixed with 1 and 1/2 cups of water and cooked on a medium flame for 10 minutes. The mixture should be then strained and added 2 teaspoons of lemon juice. It is better to have this potion warm.


Homeopathy also has a good number of medicines for treating anxiousness or nervousness. The following are some of the medicines that can be used to treat nervousness problem.

1: Aconite

The practitioners of homeopathy recommend aconite for treating intense, sudden anxiety, panic, or fear. Panic or fear may be related to past trauma. Symptoms of this type of panic include dry skin, dry mouth, and fast heartbeat.

2: Argentum nitricum
